Excellence in coal grinding
Some vertical mills use free-roaming balls instead of tires. These balls are hold in place by an upper and lower ring which provide the grinding pressure and the material is ground in between.
Magotteaux supplies those hollow balls in various grades of wear resisting alloys.
The maximum ball size is 1,130 mm OD x 150 mm thick.
