Change of CEO at Magotteaux Group

Gonzalo Cavada will take over the role of Magotteaux Chief Executive Officer on October 31^st 2022.

Sébastien Dossogne will stay on board through the end of October 2022 to ensure a smooth transition of the leadership.

Our CEO, Sébastien Dossogne, was the guest of the podcast “Hors pistes”, broadcasted by L’Echo, a Belgian daily newspaper of political, economical and financial information.

“Hors pistes” regularly invites decision-makers to take the tangent, to expose their vision at 10 years and imagine another collective future, off the beaten track.

This time, it was Sébastien’s turn to share his point of view on the redistributive virtues of growth, if supported by a sustainable and local strategy.

A few months after the massive floods in Belgium, Magotteaux is still actively working on reconstruction!

The damages linked to the floods that hit Chaudfontaine and the surrounding area last July are still clearly visible.

From day one, we have been mobilized to help municipalities and victims with reconstruction. Magotteaux provided help to local authorities including lending bulldozers, giving fuel to the firemen for chainsaws, providing access to the showers of the factory, etc. Magotteaux also financially supported the city to rebuild sport facilities and organized financial support for each of its employee who suffered from this disaster.

The 37^th edition of this prestigious Belgian event, during which the Manager of the Year is announced, will take place in January 2022.
