The successful candidate will work side-by-side with the management staff to improve inefficiencies in business processes and then determine the best ways to bring our business methods in line with our financial goals.
Develop and standardize manufacturing processes in the plant
Analyze process flows within and across all manufacturing lines and equipment to reduce costs and increase production efficiency.
Review the KPI monitoring systems and determine ways to improve overall equipment effectiveness to maintain company operations.
Provide comprehensive technical expertise to evaluate raw materials in respect to their impact on the process; develop and implement solutions to eliminate/reduce impact of raw materials on the process; communicate these activities within the company
Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling procurements, executing on time and to budget.
Assess machinery and new installations, and recommend or select the most effective combinations
Analyze new products to determine capacity impact.
Lead a multidiscipline staff team to achieve project and business objectives.
Mentor assigned personnel and promote efficiency and build leadership and team skills
Coordinate with other senior staff members on personnel, safety, finance, and purchasing issues, looking for ways to increase and enhance all functional areas

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
3+ years in manufacturing
Strong background using statistical methodologies (SPC) to improve plant operating efficiency and productivity
Capability to independently support related areas of responsibility with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively communicate with all functional groups and through several levels of the organization
Can utilize project engineering/project management and other engineering tools to optimize project execution
Interest in and commitment to teamwork and team based systems
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong Computer skills
