The slotted grate plates provide the maximum possible wear lifetime and alloy resilience for ideal resistance to impacts (specifically for raw mills and tough working conditions in CH1) thanks to :
– the choice of alloy and its mechanical properties (mostly hardness and resilience)
– the slot profile (which will last throughout the whole grate plate lifetime)
– the design of the castings

  • Simplified, cost effective, easy to install and maintain

Tech specs:

Depending in which of the 2 chambers (ID-CH1 side, ID-CH2 side, OD-CH2) they are supposed to serve, revealing different working conditions, the slotted grate plates could be either cast (and specifically designed) in chromium irons and/or Cr steels.
