VBM : Vertical Ball Mills

* Rings are not segmented
* Main alloys : Low Chrome, Nihard or High Chrome
* Hardnesses range from 30 to 62 HRc depending on alloy, application and mill maker (Low Chrome hardness : 320-400 HBN >< High Chrome hardness : 58-62 HRc)
* Hollow ball sizes vary from 267mm up to 1,150 mm (outer diameter) for a wall thickness of 60 to 150 mm
* Ring thickness variable according to mill maker design. Maximum outer diameter: 3.5 - 4.0 m

* Increased lifetime with more performant alloys (High Chrome is about 1.6 to 2 times better than Low Chrome)
* Increased service life when hollow balls and ring qualities are well balanced
* Reduced production costs and increased revenue (T/hr) when using High Chrome solutions
